faerie hill

"Faeries always give off a light, there is always a light that surrounds them." ~ Dolores Ashcraft-Nowicki

Who knows the nature of the light beings who hang on my hill, all I know is they glow and some have wings so I call them faeries. Below are the faeries I've photographed in the last year. Some are small pinpricks of light and some are as big as birds. . [all the 'enlarged photos' will be added soon]. . .

This one is pretty incredible. . .it was daytime so I'd turned my flash off, which meant no faerie pix. But suddenly my camera shut off, very strange. When I went to turn it back on it I had the bizarre thought 'What if a faerie wants the flash on so I can take her picture?' so I kept the flash on and this is the next shot I got, I swear!!! . . .

Got these two shots walking up my long driveway in the dark with a friend on Dec 16th; I lightened the images to show the surroundings, but the close-ups aren't altered. . .

Faerie or orb? . . .

A few more orb shots . . .

I took this shot outside my front door. We'd lost our beloved kitty two weeks before and I was still really sad. So it seems she came back for a comforting visit. . . have you ever seen an orb with a kitty face before? It was a first for me. . .

Faeries and orbs may always be an enigma, but thanks to infrared cameras we can capture and share what they show us. So Officialdumb's Ickipedia came up with a cover story - 'backscatting'. Sounds like an infection. So I guess there's really nothing to see here, folks.

"Brownies, pixies, fairies, gnomes are not elementals, but elements that are as definite entities as man materialized." ~ Edgar Cayce reading 1265-3

THE FAERIES' SIEGE
I have been given my charge to keep--
Well have I kept the same!
Playing with strife for the most of my life,
But this is a different game.
I'll not fight against swords unseen,
Or spears that I cannot view--
Hand him the keys of the place on your knees--
'Tis the Dreamer whose dream come true!
~ Rudyard Kipling

WE WHO ARE OLD
"We who are old, old and gay, oh so old
Thousands of years, thousands of years if all were told,
Give to these children, new from the world, silence and love
And the long dew-dropping hours of the night and the stars above
Give to these children, new from the world, rest far from men
Is anything better, is anything better? tell us it then.
We who are old, old and gay, oh so old
Thousands of years, thousands of years if all were told."

W.B. Yeats [a true believer]
