But in the west, christians and materialists set the cultural tone and both reject reincarnation. It may be the only thing they agree on. But many minds are finally opening up, thanks to the investigative research of Ian Stevenson MD, who traveled the world for 40 years to interview over 2000 children who each recall their prior life. Dr. Stevenson investigated only cases where the child recalled identifying details, so he was able to locate the prior families to confirm the data; and when willing, to bring them back together. He dismissed the cases that didn't conform to his rigid standards and most that did were validated, or 'solved', as he put it. ![]() Dr. Stevenson discovered some utterly amazing things. Children were often drawn to the creative skills developed in the prior life and they 'came easily' in the present one. And every child retained the character, purpose and appearance of the prior life. And prior wounds would sometimes manifest in the present ife as birthmarks or birth defects, in the same size, shape and location. So spirit evidently informs genetics. And many of the children say they chose when and where to return, often reborn into the same family or close by. Amd when asked why, Dr. Stevenson replied 'Love, of course.' Dr. Stevenson's published many books on his research and his center of operations for 50 years was the Division of Perceptual Studies at the University of Virginia. His seminal work was made possible by a generous grant from the inventor of xerography, Chester Carlson. So free will appears to reign supreme both here and wherever there may be. GOD is no helicopter Parent and there's no Council of Twelve or whatever to dictate our path. We choose here and there, whether consciously or unconsciously. The children interviewed by Dr. Stevenson were conscious of reincarnation and many recall when and where they chose to return. But those who reject reincarnation don't even know they have a choice, so presumably their unconscious takes over, like it does here way too often, then who knows what will happen?
![]() Once you read Dr. Stevenson's research you might wonder if some of what we assume is childhood imagination is actually memory. Half the world considers reincarnation divine law, so most of Dr. Stevenson's cases are found there, where parents understand what their children are telling them. Not like here... My three-year old son was banging his toy nails with his toy hammer as he loved to do, when he matter-of-factly said: "Mommy, I did this before, when I was big." I was floored and filled with questions, but suddenly fearful I'd 'open a door that should remain closed'. It was obviously already open, but I didn't think it through and didn't ask him anything! A missed opportunity because of others' fear that I mistook for wisdom. Thanks to Dr. Stevenson I finally know better. Knowledge is power and should never be feared. And it's our God-given right to know and speak the truth, without any fear of ridicule.

David was made aware of his resemblance to Cayce by an acquaintance while visiting Virginia Beach, clearly synchronistic. So David encouraged to visit the A.R.E to give Cayce's password a try, but no go, so some memories may not travel well through time.
But it was enough for the A.R.E. to just say no and disregard all the compelling connections. So there would be no hypnosis to confirm or rule out Cayce's return. If proven, it would shift their operation, but surely for the better. And their refusal betrays Cayce's wishes and does the world a disservice. Some say the C.I.A. consumed the A.R.E, so there's that.

Carl Switzer, 'Alfalfa in the classic Our Gang, died young and tragically. And it's common to return quickly when a strong purpose is left unfulfilled. Both Carl Switzer and Mike Myers were child actors with charm and uniquely similar features. And their birth charts have enough connections to make it feasible. Can't fit a round soul in a square hole.

"I adopted the theory of reincarnation when I was 26. Genius is experience. Some seem to think that it is a gift or talent, but it is the fruit of long experience in many lives." ~ Henry Ford"As long as you are not aware of the continual law of Die and Be Again, you are merely a vague guest on a dark Earth." ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe "I look upon death to be as necessary to the constitution as sleep. We shall rise refreshed in the morning." ~ Benjamin Franklin "The soul comes from without into the human body, as into a temporary abode, and it goes out of it anew and passes into other habitations, for the soul is immortal." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson "Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting. The Soul that rises with us, our life's Star, Hath had elsewhere its setting. And cometh from afar." ~ William Wordsworth "I died as a mineral and became a plant; I died as a plant and rose to animal; I died as an animal and I was man. Why should I fear?" ~ Jalal Rumi, 13th century Islamic poet "Why should we be startled by death? Life is a constant putting off of the mortal coil - coat, cuticle, flesh and bones, all old clothes." ~ Henry David Thoreau "I am confident that there truly is such a thing as living again, that the living spring from the dead, and that the souls of the dead are in existence." ~ Socrates "Souls are poured from one into another of different kinds of bodies of the world." ~ Jesus Christ in Gnostic Gospels: Pistis Sophia "When the physical organism breaks up, the soul survives. It then takes on another body." ~ Paul Gauguin "It is not more surprising to be born twice than once; everything in nature is resurrection." ~ Voltaire "So as through a glass and darkly, the age long strife I see, where I fought in many guises, many names, but always me." ~ General George S. Patton "I did not begin when I was born, nor when I was conceived. I have been growing, developing, through incalculable myriads of millenniums. All my previous selves have their voices, echoes, promptings in me. Oh, incalculable times again shall I be born." ~ Jack London "I cannot think of permanent enmity between man and man, and believing as I do in the theory of reincarnation, I live in the hope that if not in this birth, in some other birth I shall be able to hug all of humanity in friendly embrace." ~ Mahatma Ghandi "As we live through thousands of dreams in our present life, so is our present life only one of many thousands of such lives which we enter from the other more real life and then return after death. Our life is but one of the dreams of that more real life, and so it is endlessly, until the very last one, the very real, the life of God." ~ Leo Tolstoy "It is the secret of the world that all things subsist and do not die, but only retire a little from sight and aferwards return again. Nothing is dead; men feign themselves dead, and endure mock funerals... and there they stand looking out of the window, sound and well, in some strange new disguise." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson "What happened before earth-life, we have forgotten; if we ever knew, we have forgotten. Our individual memory begins soon after birth. Before that we cannot trace identity. Perhaps we had none. Either we had none or we have forgetten. The latter is the more poetic mode of expression. It is not new. I am well aware that I am saying nothing new. The doctrine is old; Plato taught it before the time of Christ, Wordsworth taught it early in last century--the doctrine that when we enter into flesh we leave behind all memory of previous existence--all, except for occasional dim and shodowy recollections which, though they may be stronger in infancy, occasionally surprise the grown man also, from whose mind they usually appear to have faded. Dimly he may remember the days of his infancy." ~ Sir Oliver Lodge "My life often seemed to me like a story that has no beginning and no end. I had the feeling that I was an historical fragment, an excerpt for which the preceding and succeeding text was missing. I could well imagine that I might have lived in former centuries and there encountered questions I was not yet able to answer; that I had been born again because I had not fulfilled the task given to me." ~ Carl Jung "Friends are all souls that we've known in other lives. We're drawn to each other. Even if I have only known them a day, it doesn't matter. I'm not going to wait til I have known them for two years, because anyway, we must have met somewhere before, you know?" ~ George Harrison "Were an Asiatic to ask me for a definition of Europe, I should be forced to answer him: It is that part of the world which is haunted by the incredible delusion that man was created out of nothing, and his present birth is his first entrance into life." ~ Arthur Schopenhauer "In returning to the body, I see that I have been made a man, and physically in life, I choose to accept that contingency." - Barack Obama "How much is lost through disbelief?" ~ Heraclitus |

Barbro Karlen was born in Sweden in 1954. Her first book, Man on Earth, published when she was 12, became the bestselling poetry book of all time in Sweden. Over the next five years, nine further volumes of her prose and poetry were published. From the back cover... "For as long as she can remember, Barbro Karlen has harboured terrible memories of a previous existence on earth as the Jewish girl Anne Frank, author of the famous diary. Until recently, she had kept this knowledge private. Now, prompted by a series of events which culminated in a struggle for her survival, she is ready to tell her amazing story. And The Wolves Howled is the autobiography of Barbro Karlen, from her early fame as a bestselling child literary sensation in her native Sweden, to her years as a policewoman and a successful dressage rider. But this is no ordinary life history. As the victim of discrimination, personal vendettas, media assassination, libel and attempted murder, Karlen is forced to fight for her very being. In the dramatic conclusion to her living nightmare, she is shown the karmic background to these events. She glimpses fragments of her former life, and begins to understand how forces of destiny reach over from the past into the present. With this knowledge she is finally free to be herself..." Someone Else's Yesterday:The Confederate General and Connecticut Yankee by Jeffrey Keene ![]() About the book... Someone Else's Yesterday is an amazing journey through the eyes of two people: one a Georgian, the other a Connecticut Yankee. Similarities between the two go far beyond coincidence. They think alike, look alike, and even share facial scars. Their lives are so intertwined that they appear to be one. Half of this equation, Jeffrey J. Keene, is a present-day Assistant Fire Chief in affluent Westport, CT. The other half, John B. Gordon, Confederate General, Army of Northern Virginia, died January 9, 1904. Old Souls:Compelling Evidence from Children Who Remember Past Lives by Tom Shroder
From Publisher's Weekly..."While it is easy for Western science to dismiss as fantasy or wish fulfillment the recollections of individuals who "remember" being Cleopatra or Napoleon, how is one to explain a young boy's insistence that he is really a nondescript auto mechanic who died in a car crash a few years before? American psychiatrist Ian Stevenson has spent more than 30 years studying the cases of some 2000 children who spontaneously remember concrete details about dead strangers whose experiences can be documented. On his two final field trips, to Lebanon and India, he was accompanied by journalist Tom Shroder of the Washington Post. Shroder's account of these expeditions emphasizes physical detail over in-depth analysis, but nevertheless makes for engrossing reading. In many cases, the subjects exhibit birthmarks or extreme phobias corresponding to injuries or traumatic events in their "past lives." They recognize the deceased's relatives and friends; in one case, a Lebanese boy asked the deceased's mother if she had finished knitting the sweater she was making for him when he died. That the compelling questions raised by such cases are ignored by the scientific establishment causes Stevenson great disappointment. "for me," he says, "everything now believed by scientists is open to question, and I am always dismayed to find that many scientists accept current knowledge as forever fixed." The journalistic objectivity Shroder brings to his material makes this an exceptionally valuable treatment of an often disparaged subject." ![]() Article: Have We Met Before? Return From Heaven: Beloved Relatives Reincarnated Within Your Family |

Native Americans followed the natural law of rebirth, but the invaders slaughtered most of the native population and sent their children to 'praying villages' where their ancient spirituality was driven out.
So their genetic stream became a trickle while the European population expanded. And many of the native souls who longed to return home could only hitch a ride on the European genetic stream.Maybe that explains the two distinctly different American types; those who live & let live and those with a compulsion to control. And maybe the latter souls dwelled too long in the European dark ages and loaded up on fear and psychosis, now in the guise of Marxism. But liberty is eternal and unbreakable, like our spirits, and genetics is just a vehicle, or a wardrobe. THE GREAT LAW OF PEACE of 1142 ...
And the Founding Fathers modeled the U.S. Constitution on Gayanashagowa, the Native American Great Law of Peace of 1142, the most perfect law of liberty in recorded history. Were they the Northeast Chiefs of lore?
